A tumblr would be good shad, with the right theme you can just put up a comic each time you upload and put a comment linking to the site so you can actually pull revenue from it if you want, it’d probably be a better place for sketches/behind the scenes/q&a stuff, it’s a little complicated at first but once you use it for a couple days you start to understand what’s going on pretty quick

Tumblr is pretty big and not that hard to use, It’s also pretty customizable. If you seen Ricepirate’s tumblr page he’s been playing around with it and it looks really cool.
as for being profitable i wouldn’t know about that, It could bring more people in and it might not it’s all up to the amount of followers and how well your stuff gets sent around/seen (tagging usually help in that area but is very tedious). I have also seen some Tumblr’s in the past with ads on them but i don’t know if that’s profitable either.
