Adding suspense, I love it. This would be a PERFECT time for Dash to walk in. Or you could prolong in further:
Helen sees the sock and clearly knows it’s Violet (as suggested in the last line), but Helen pretends to not notice. She then thinks out loud that she should slip into something more comfortable in her room. Violet gets rid of the sock, becomes totally invisible and makes her way to Helen’s room (which is conveniently left ajar). Helen sees the door open a little more on its own as Vi sneaks in, and turns around to reveal her open bathrobe.
But it’s Dash that opened the door, Violet is still in the hallway, voyeuristically peering in. Dash backs up, clearly startled, and bumps into Violet, who turns visible (she doesnt have great control of her powers yet). Mr. Incredible is coming down the hall to tell Helen that he and Frozone are going “bowling”.
