Sorry that the wait for a new update has been a bit longer than usual, but I ended up putting alot more time into Fallout 4 in the past 2 days than I thought I would, so even though I am working on a legit new Vault Meat picture, I figured Id draw a little Perk Girl to tie you over. Inspired by my Vault Girl and Piper in a tight Vault Suit squatting around in-game.
Fallout 4 is pretty much everything I wanted from a new Fallout game, even though it has been dumbed-down in many aspects, for example you cant target weapons and grenades in Vats anymore, it also doesn't offer the amount of freedom New Vegas allowed, however the fun gameplay and especially the beautifully crafted wasteland, which is so much fun to explore, make up for whatever you might miss from the previous generation.
Im about 20 hours in on Survivor difficulty and I feel like I have just been getting started, so looks like this game will keep me busy for quite a while, but now that the initial release is over, I will be playing it in moderation (no more 7 hour Twitch streams) so I can work on the Fallout series here on Shadbase.
For those curious to see how my adventures are going, I will be streaming almost daily on
Twitch for the rest of November.
Also for the PC players who like the fanmade Vault Meat to the right, you can download a save file to play as her from Nexus.
Might go well with one of the many nude modes that are bound to be coming out.

No idea how likely it is you’ll respond Shad, but what ‘freedom’ did New Vegas offer exactly, beyond the freedom to run into invisible walls and follow strict, dedicated paths in almost every single playthrough?
Im not sure if you played the same game I have, New Vegas had so much to offer, most of the game was optional, you could finish the story in 2 hours, or go see what else is out there and spend more than a hundred hours experiencing the Mojave desert. First thing you could do is kill the doctor who saved your life and wear his clothes while massacring the entire village around him, or you could go through the entire game without killing a single human being.
Add the DLCs to that and mods, you got yourself an experience unlike any other game.

I totally agree, Fallout NV introduced me to the series and I could not understand why so many underrated it. One of my favorite things about it is the decisions and paths. I remember the King missions where you can lie take bribes or tell the truth.

I think you were too quick to judge fallout 4. Some features were taken out because they were unrealistic like weapon degradation and being able to target someone’s weapons. The game has all the freedoms skyrim or new Vegas had, and I think you will figure that out.
