I believe the uniforms have sort-of “eyes”. If you look at Satsuki’s kamui, both eyes are functioning. Senketsu, on the other hand, appears to have an eyepatch over his right eye for some reason or another. I assume the reason he is missing an eye will be explained later on in the series. Perhaps he will regain it and it may be a path to further the powers of Ryuko and Senketsu.
Makes sense. Maybe that’s why the Life Fibers are absorbed after the opponent’s Goku Uniform is destroyed.
By the way, I hope that Ryuko wins (whatever winning means in a comic such as this, hehe).
