I actually made this for other people to play with, to make their own version. And Gimp is an easy tool to use for starters.

It worked fine for me but I’m really bad at editing stuff so all I managed to do was make her gloves black. But it worked fine.
Hmm … I haven’t actually thought on coloring the gloves and boots black myself.
Just show and hide some parts of her clothes and see how it looks.
You can also work with different layers and transparency on top of each other.
