Wouldn’t be so bad if it was based on a style that had excessively long legs, but for a serious that’s suppose to be realistically drawn Mikasa’s knee should not come up to her eyes, much less her head. I fail to see what’s negative about the criticism I listed, such that it fails to be constructive. The leg does look far too long, and while it might be physically possible to twist yourself into some pose where your knee does come up to your eyes while still keeping your back relatively straight, it wouldn’t be a natural pose. This is especially true when you consider that she’s on a slated rooftop, and for her foot to be resting on a lower part of the roof then her butt(which it is) would require that her knee be even lower than it might be on a flat surface.
Likewise I’ll grant that there are other parts that feature the same texturing, but you kinda made my point for me. If an artist is using the same texture pattern on a stone wall that they are for human skin, then it’s going to look off.
I’d hope that you might understand the irony of telling me my criticism is invalid due to it’s personal and subjective nature by giving your own subjective and personal take on the piece.
