FNV started out really fun and the DLC’s were worth every penny … but at some point along the story it began to lack something that F3 had … i can’t put my finger on what though :/
i also didn’t like the choice based story system but it was all passable for the fact you could upgrade weapons … i like upgrading things, makes me feel like my caps were well spent. unlike fallout 3 where i ended up having like 20k caps in my inventory perminently and only buying repairs and stimpaks.
The environment was so dull and the story so lacking. Plus 3 had Liam Neeson while NV had Matthew Perry. I’m sorry but the only things I feel were better in New Vegas were the companions and the factions.

I would never try to change your opinion grim, just stating my own. I will admit, the addition of iron sights was an improvement but the gunplay still sucked. Hopefully Fallout 4’s gunplay will kick ass, it’s my biggest complaint about the game.
I haven’t tried Fallout 3 yet, but from the looks of it I’d still prefer Fallout New Vegas over Fallout 3. Fallout 3 looks like fun and all that shit but New Vegas actually has a more “Dark Comedy” kind of tone that 1 and 2 had.
