Edit: I added some of the practices/repaints I did for this specific pinup, I wanted to really explore every little crevice in the skin, every little shape, and then try to simplify it in an appealing way, while figuring out a way to paint the skin in a way where it looks softer then my usual skin.

Perhaps it was a mistake of me not to view shadbase as a business to milk as much as possible while catering directly to what the audience wants, but it would be a dishonest approach, I was never good at pretending to be something Im not, unable to fit in with the norm. Money is not a factor that drives me and more of a means to an end of survival.
Ive always viewed Shadbase more as a companion throughout my life on which I can post what Ive been drawing while making an attempt to simultaneously have it finance itself.
And life same as everything else has its ups and downs, its moments where drawing becomes difficult and its moments where I am absolutely obsessed with it and cant seem to get enough. Ive experienced the good sides and the wretched sides. I havent figured this out and truthfully dont think Im smart or capable enough to ever even get close, but I can keep going, keep trying, cause at the end of the day I know that I just really like drawing stuff, and love the fact that I have a place of my own to post it.
