I forgot to upload this one, it only took a few hours to draw and I made it last weekend.

Been taking on a bit of work that interests me outside of shadbase so my drawing efforts are divided and ill do simpler styles here again so I can still post something every now and then.

Im really into high contrast lighting lately, even though this drawing is really dark, I did draw everything out before the darkness, so if you really look at it, hopefully its noticable. I think it gives the shadows more life when you can still see the surface they are being projected on interact with it.

I also drew this PS5 girl sketch after seeing the conference the other day, since the thing has literal pussy flaps.

and for the creative type who are interested in these sorts of things, the units head has been changing all throughout working on this, while I initially was gonna do 2 eyes (cant do 3 thats forever taken) I thought of those 4 eyed nightvision helmets, and figured to create a custom one in goggle form, to give him a more creepy and inhuman vibe.

Here are some details that got butchered/lost in the final version cause of lighting and not big enough resolution for those who are curious about that sort of thing:

I was originally going to give him one of those Samurai Masks, but I figured too many people would think he is an orc or a demon, so I also tried the full blown demon face, but ultimately settled on the ninja mask. I also added a version without the colors, the only thing I did legit lineart on was the samurai shogun character himself, everything else was painted, I tried different coloring methods, and learned some new methods from fucking around with this one.

I would not recommend this approach, its not very efficient for digital and your Hand is going to get quite the workout, but it was a fun experiment for a 1 pager.

Only 5 days into 2020 and around every corner theres talk of world war 3 and the destruction of the earths climate, even in places that usually should be an escape from the real world drama, there are people at each others throats over memes like that "new guy" you may have heard about. Looks like this will be a special year in terms of fear mongering, death and hate towards your fellow man.
